In 2024–2025, the MSU Research Foundation delivered a year-round series of workshops and networking events to help Michigan’s founders develop, fund, and scale their startups. Each session offered practical guidance and new connections, supporting venture growth and translating research-driven ideas into successful companies.

By the Numbers:

The Foundation hosted 72 startup-focused events engaging more than 3,000 participants across Greater Lansing, Grand Rapids, Detroit, and live online. Each program was designed to make entrepreneurial resources more accessible, foster peer learning, and strengthen Michigan’s venture pipeline through direct engagement with mentors, investors, and corporate partners.
