Ecosystem Partners
Innovation happens when research, talent, capital, industry, and public institutions move in alignment—each contributing distinct strengths toward shared outcomes. During the 2024–2025 fiscal year, the MSU Research Foundation strengthened these connections between Michigan State University and the broader innovation ecosystem across Michigan, helping enable:
- Commitment of time, capital, and credibility from statewide and national partners
- Launch of sector-based venture platforms anchored by institutional partners
- Independent validation through regional and statewide benchmarking efforts
- Stronger alignment between research, capital, and market demand
Through ecosystem partnerships with organizations such as Henry Ford Health, Michigan Virtual, Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP), and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), the Foundation served as a connector and catalyst—helping to launch new venture programs, expand early-stage and evergreen capital pathways, and connect research and entrepreneurs to real-world adoption—demonstrating how alignment creates lasting momentum.
