Color is a key part of the MSU Research Foundation’s visual identity. Our pallet compliments Michigan State University’s colors to reflect a shared heritage while maintaining a distinct Foundation identity. Consistent use of this palette ensures that our logos, website, and printed materials present a unified and recognizable brand.

The MSU Research Foundation logo features two core colors: Spartan Green and Medium Gray. Spartan Green connects our brand visually and emotionally to Michigan State University. When needed, the logo may also appear in a single brand-consistent color such as Black or White.

Accent colors add depth and flexibility to our visual system. When used intentionally, they highlight key information, add visual interest, and maintain harmony with our core palette. These colors should be applied sparingly to guide attention and crate a balanced, cohesive look across all materials.
