VanCamp Incubator

The VanCamp Incubator is a 22,000-square-foot multi-tenant facility that welcomes emerging companies and researcher groups across the Greater Lansing region and beyond. It features nine wet labs, forty-two office spaces, shared equipment rooms, conference rooms, and common areas.

VanCamp provides a collaborative space and top-of-the-line research equipment, including PCR machines, freezers and refrigerators, plate readers, microscopes, centrifuges, vortexers, tissue culture hoods, an autoclave room, and more. The incubator also offers business support and acceleration programming to help companies reach their milestones. The incubator is named after the late microbiologist Loretta VanCamp, a Michigan State University researcher who co-created cisplatin, a gold standard for cancer drugs.

The Research Foundation received the Emerging Research Park Award from the Association of University Research Parks for the VanCamp Incubator project.
