Three New Startup Companies Sign Leases in The Bridge Incubator Facility

The Michigan State University Research Foundation expands its incubator facilities with three startups across the biotechnology, cybersecurity, and health technology industries.

EAST LANSING, Mich. –– The Michigan State University Research Foundation (MSU Research Foundation) announces the addition of three dynamic startups to The Bridge incubator facility in Grand Rapids. These new tenants span the biotechnology, cybersecurity, and health technology industries:

Lucid Biosystems is a biotechnology company specializing in nanoscale research, working to expedite the discovery of medical tests and treatments at the level of individual cells. They are developing new methods to rapidly and efficiently analyze a large number of cells for improved insights into diseases and potential treatments.

Overpower specializes in providing advanced cybersecurity solutions with a focus on turnkey vendor management, secure enterprise architecture, and compliance services. Overpower takes a customized approach to cybersecurity, safeguarding digital assets and bolstering operational resilience.

MoveFactorX uses ultra-portable sensor technology to measure and assess key biometrics related to movement health, including balance, reaction, mobility, and functional power. Their comprehensive platform is designed to help coaches, personal trainers and physical therapists achieve better results for their clients and patients.

The Bridge incubator is a multi-tenant facility located on the fourth floor of the Doug Meijer Medical Innovation Building within the MSU Innovation Park in Grand Rapids. It is designed to support high-tech, high-growth startup companies and researcher groups with office and collaborative spaces, flex desks and workstations, conference facilities, events, and networking opportunities. Comprehensive startup programming and services are provided by Spartan Innovations.
