Scion Plasma LLC
In collaboration with MSU and Fraunhofer USA, Scion Plasma LLC has developed innovative single beam ion sources for producing high-quality thin films. The new ion sources possess multiple unique features that overcome the limitations of conventional ion sources.Scion's plasma modeling software is based on advanced algorithms and is >50 times faster than the current particle-in-cell/Monte Carlo scheme. Modeling a low-pressure magnetized plasma in a practical scale can be completed in less than 24 hours on a desktop computer.
