MSU Research Foundation Welcomes Three Startups to Incubator Facilities
January-March 2025 Update: The Michigan State University Research Foundation welcomed three startup businesses to incubator facilities in East Lansing. Companies specializing in medical devices, neonatal care, and protein therapeutics add to the region’s growing high-tech innovation ecosystem.
EAST LANSING, Mich. (Apr. 15, 2025) — The MSU Research Foundation welcomed three startup businesses to incubator facilities in East Lansing between January and March of 2025.
Joining the startup community at the Technology Innovation Center (TIC) in downtown East Lansing are:
Sit Sense: A company that develops products to reposition patients in various healthcare settings to reduce physical stress on caregivers, prevent medical complications, and increase patient quality of life.
TheraB Medical: A neonatal health company developing SnugLit, the first wearable phototherapy device for infant jaundice, designed to keep babies and parents together while enabling effective treatment at the hospital and at home.
Joining the startup community at the VanCamp Incubator in East Lansing is:
Constant Biotechnology: A biotechnology company developing next-generation protein therapeutics to treat complex diseases with greater precision, fewer side effects, and improved patient outcomes.
“We’re excited to welcome these companies to our incubator spaces,” said Jeff Smith, Director of Research Parks at the MSU Research Foundation. “Each company brings a different perspective on advancing human health—from caregiving tools to infant care to precision biotech—and we’re eager to support their growth here in East Lansing.”
The TIC and VanCamp Incubator are facilities that support early-stage companies and research groups through comprehensive startup programming and services provided by the MSU Research Foundation. The TIC, located in East Lansing, offers a 7,000-square-foot collaborative workspace for tech startups, operated in partnership with the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) and the Lansing Regional SmartZone. The VanCamp Incubator, located in Meridian Township near Michigan State University, offers 22,000 square feet of office and wet lab space tailored to life sciences, biotechnology, and physical sciences ventures.
