Four New Startup Companies Sign Leases in Foundation Incubator Facilities

The Michigan State University Research Foundation expands its incubator facilities with four pioneering startups across the finance, professional services, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology industries.

EAST LANSING, Mich. –– The Michigan State University Research Foundation (MSU Research Foundation) is proud to announce the addition of four dynamic startups to its VanCamp and Technology Innovation Center (TIC) incubator facilities. These cutting-edge ventures, spanning finance, professional services, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology, are set to drive innovation and progress in their respective fields:

Cambridge Digital Asset Group is a consulting firm and SEC Registered Investment Advisor that focuses on helping institutional investors enter the world of digital asset investing. Their insured investment vehicle transforms the way performance and risk management are handled, making the investment process easier with comprehensive services and personalized strategies. Additionally, the firm's structured fixed income solutions maximize the potential of bond portfolios for their institutional clients. Cambridge Digital Asset Group is located in the VanCamp Incubator facility.

The MilesWest Group is a Black- and Woman-owned professional services consultancy and outsourced service provider. They collaborate with clients to develop processes that lead to successful outcomes, prioritizing fairness and equality. Their unwavering dedication to fostering inclusive and diverse business practices sets them apart as a powerful catalyst for positive change in the industry. The MilesWest Group is located in the TIC.

Motion Grazer AI, Inc. harnesses the power of artificial intelligence and deep learning to create an innovative device that quantitatively evaluates animal posture and gait. This cutting-edge technology offers real-time health data and productivity predictions for each animal, resulting in improved farm efficiency, profitability, and overall animal welfare. Motion Grazer AI is located in the TIC.

Tarn Biosciences, a leading biotech organization, specializes in developing therapies for tuberculosis (TB), non-tuberculous mycobacterium (NTM), and other mycobacterial infections. By utilizing intellectual property developed at MSU, Tarn is dedicated to tackling the global prevalence of TB and NTM diseases, with a particular focus on developing countries and populations with compromised immune systems. Tarn Biosciences is located in the TIC.

The VanCamp and TIC incubators are both multi-tenant facilities in Greater Lansing, designed to support emerging companies and researcher groups. The VanCamp Incubator features nine wet labs, 42 office spaces, shared equipment rooms, conference facilities, and common areas, providing a collaborative space with top-of-the-line research equipment. Named after the late microbiologist Loretta VanCamp, co-creator of cisplatin, it embodies a legacy of innovation, offering startups tailored resources, mentorship from industry experts, and business support to drive innovation in Lansing's entrepreneurial landscape. The TIC occupies 7,000 square feet and offers tech startups a collaborative workspace, programmatic support, and essential resources. With 19 offices and two conference rooms, The TIC serves as a hub for forward-thinking entrepreneurs to share ideas and build exceptional companies.
