Bradley Matson

Program Manager

Bradley is a Michigan native with over 15 years of entrepreneurship experience across North America. Building-up startup ecosystems is at the core of Bradley’s work beginning with the group Startup Tucson and City Recess, a technology startup in Arizona. Bradley returned to Michigan in 2013 founding CoWharf, the first coworking office in Traverse City, and the inaugural TC Startup Weekend in partnership with Northwestern Michigan College and Techstars. In the summer of 2016 Bradley launched Beta Batch, the area’s first startup accelerator that then graduated Chompler, a local food delivery business. In 2017, Bradley was hired as the third employee of Namastay, a hospitality technology company in Montreal, QC going on to head their first US office in Miami Beach, FL. For the last few years Bradley has worked in the Seattle, WA area as a startup mentor for WeWork Labs and the Maritime Blue Accelerator Program before returning to Michigan in 2020 to work with Northern Michigan Angels. Bradley is looking forward to continuing the great work of Spartan Innovations for the benefit of the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, founders and investors.
